Our transport program is something that we are very proud of. We have started to work with a New Jersey based rescue group, Shelter Showcase, to find homes for animals in New Jersey and surrounding areas. The applicants go through an adoption process that works to find the right match for the family and the pet.
The animals are transported via Continental Airlines, which works diligently to provide appropriate and careful transport of the pets. The adoption fees paid by adopters include the transport costs. All dogs in our program are microchipped (24PetWatch), spayed/neutered, have age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test & prevention, flea/tick prevention, collars with personalized tags, deworming and any other appropriate vet care. The pets also receive a 30 day insurance policy from Sheltercare pet insurance.
