Super Star Adoptable Dogs
Meet Jenny! Jenny is a happy-go-lucky girl. She’s always on the lookout for bunnies and squirrels, that’s the hound in her! She loves to play with other dogs, but big dogs that are rough can be a little much for her although she can hold her own! She does well playing on grass but a lot of walking on concrete will need some special care to make sure that her back legs don’t drag. She uses both our back legs very well, but will always have some mobility issues. She often tends to walk sideways when she gets tired! Jenny has gotten along well with all her other foster dog siblings. Jenny hasn’t met a stranger and also has been great with the children she’s met. As well as the cat in her foster home. Jenny is very well crate trained and housetrained although her accident has left her with urgency when she needs to go outside to potty. And Jenny walks well on a leash and loves to walk the neighbourhood looking for anything that moves! We feel that Jenny is ready for her forever home after over a year in her rescue foster homes.

Meet Nala Kai! This amazing happy girl is only about a year old and 40 pounds. We aren't exactly sure what type of dog she is but maybe has some white german sheperd, some type of retriever and american pitbull terrier, or even husky! She is sweet and playful, and always has a smile on her face. Nala is ready to go at a moments notice and up to for anything with her family. She’s been great with all the dogs she meets, although she is very playful and can play a little bit hard for some dogs. She also adores kids and all people. Older kids may be best, as she doesn’t realize how to play more gently with small children. Nala is crate trained and loves to go for walks and long hikes! She is very treat motivated and learns quickly! Nala also had bloodwork at her vet visit.
Are you ready to add Nala Kai to your family, please put in an application as soon as possible. Interested in becoming a forever home for Nala Kai? Robin is a 3-year-old neutered male and a true survivor! He has overcome incredible odds and deserves the best forever home. Two years ago, this brave boy was on the euthanasia list due to a severe injury after getting caught in a kennel door. We saved his leg, and although it's permanently deformed, it doesn’t slow him down one bit!
Robin has a pawsitively infectious zest for life! Weighing about 47 pounds, he is most likely a mix of Carolina dog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and maybe even some Kelpie. With that DNA and his resilient spirit, Robin truly is a super mutt! Here are some more things to know about Robin: He is potty and crate trained and understands basic commands. He is also a saint in a crate. Robin is great with other dogs and kids and loves being around humans of all ages. He walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you. Despite his leg being deformed, Robin is fully healed and doesn’t let it hold him back. He’s a resilient, loving, and spirited dog who’s ready to fill your home with joy and companionship. We are so excited to announce our Wheelie Program for specially abled dogs!! Our program was inspired by our wheelie alum, Baxter. He came to us with “no chance of adoption” (or so they said) but is now living his best life with his amazing family! Our Wheelie Program is run by our very own, Nina and her adopted wheelie girl, Diana. This program strives to save as many dogs in need of a wheelchair or those that have limited mobility of their legs. We think every dog deserves a chance at an amazing life regardless of their abilities!
A BIG thank you to our honorary board member, Diane (Baxter’s mom), for your continued support of our special needs dogs!!! And thank you to Diana A., for creating our gorgeous logo! More information is to follow as we continue to develop and expand our rescue efforts! |
